Everyone knows that when you go to New York there’s a lot to do and not a lot of time, so I went with a rough plan and an Itinerary. Personally I’m not a massive museum fan so we only went to one, but this itinerary really worked for us and we loved every minute of it. I recommend buying a 7 day Metro card costing $32 and that’s unlimited travel for the whole week and will also get your to JFK airport.

Tips
- My phone contract does not make it cheap to use my phone abroad. I have an unlocked Iphone which means I can put any sim in it and it will work. I bought a pay as you go sim card from Three which has a ‘feel at home deal on it’ basically you can use data, minutes and texts at no extra cost from UK prices, I paid £25 for 30GB data and 3000 texts and minutes which could all be used in the USA. This meant I could use google maps to find my way around, use subway maps and update my socials all the time !
